New Journal Impact Factor for One Ecosystem

The 2024 Journal Impact Factor (JIF) for One Ecosystem has been officially released, standing at 1.9, according to the latest data from Clarivate’s Journal Citation Report (JCR). This is a slight increase from 2023’s 1.8.
The 2025 JCR reflects how often content published in a particular journal in 2022 and 2023 was cited in 2024, the last complete year. The Web of Science metric divides the total citation count is divided by the number of “citable” (i.e. research and review) articles to estimate the JIF for the year.
Last year, One Ecosystem got its first Impact Factor – a recognition for the journal’s quality and integrity.
Earlier in June, One Ecosystem received its 2024 Scopus CiteScore, which stands at 4.
These newly released metrics are now available on the journal’s website and in its latest newsletter, providing researchers with up-to-date insights into our standing in the global scientific community.
