Best poster winners announced at the 5th ESP Europe Conference

Pensoft, One Ecosystem's publisher, proudly sponsored the poster presentation awards at the 5th ESP Europe Conference, which was held on 18-22 November 2024 in Wageningen, Netherlands. The conference, themed "Ecosystem Services: One Planet, One Health," provided a platform for researchers to share their work on the vital connection between ecosystem health and human well-being.

Pensoft awarded free publications in One Ecosystem and copies of the book Mapping Ecosystem Services to the top three poster presenters.

Third place went to Henning Schumacher, for the poster "Assessing the impact of forest degradation on biodiversity loss at the landscape scale - a systematic review."

For her poster "Lessons from local community perspectives on ecosystem services and disservices of invasive alien plant species," Neema Mtenga won second place.

The victorious first place was awarded to Meng Li, for the poster "Assessing the effectiveness of nature-based solutions in cities." She also received the book Scaling in Ecology and Biodiversity Conservation.
